I have an 04' 750 Shadow Aero. The High Beam in the headlight is burned out. Is there an alternative to the OEM Honda Motorcycle bulb? Will a standard automotive headlight bulb from the local autoparts store work or even fit?

yes automotive parts house do have replacements, but becareful that it is the same or equal wattage. Also there are brighter lights with the same watts but make sure the headlight is adjusted correctly, you don't want to blind the opposing traffic. You'll need all the light you can get to see at night.
