mid 80's VT 250 F Special Edition JDM

Hi, I bought this from a co-worker without totally knowing what it is. Not sure how far I want to get into this project, I can't find much info on it. I do know that it's a mid 80's VT 250 F Special Edition, and it was brought back from Japan. Does anyone else know more?

welcome to the forum. if you have the vin you can get more info from wikipedia.
