Default WeatherTech floor liners (floor mats)

Hello. Wondering if any of you has experience with installing WeatherTech floor liners on your Honda Fit. We have a 2010 Honda Fit hatchback, and the existing floor mat on the driver's side (which is old and very worn) has two pegs (WeatherTech refers to them as "retention devices") to hold the mat in place. But one of the two pegs is missing. I called our local Honda dealer, and the cost to buy a replacement peg is about $35! My question is this: If I don't replace the missing peg, would the WeatherTech floor liner that doesn't have the two holes for the retention pegs on the driver's side fit just fine and stay in place, or should I buy the liner that has the two holes for retention devices even though I have only one peg and so one of the two holes would be vacant?

Thanks in advance!
