2018 civic.

New car buyers beware. Honda used to be THE car to buy as have owned many. But the 2018 civic seems to be made of styrofoam and tin foil. Very very soft and very thin body panels and the inside is full of cheap plastic that squeaks and rattles. Forget trying to get that rubber/plastic strip that goes on the roof as it never stays on or conforms to the roof line. I think I'll stay with my older Honda as I returned that piece of junk to the dealer after a few weeks.

welcome to the forum. yes i agree with you. have owned many Hondas also, and the newer they are the cheaper they are put together. to save money, to keep the costs lower, and all other cars are doing the same. i could lean my forearms onto my 57 chevy fenders, but left dents on 02 civic. metal seems to get scarce and plastic cheaper.
