Default brake and hub assembly changes

Hello. I have a 94 honda accord ex two door coupe....everytime I go to tackle the brakes on this car I either have to remove the entire hub assembly and take them in to have the rotors turned as they are pressed on or have them turned on the car with an on the car metal lathe which runs me about 200.00....what other vehicles does honda have that the rotors just slide over the stud bolts like any other normal car....I hate this and I drive this car 100,000 miles a year....I am sick of replacing wheel bearings and lower ***** as a result of removing the hubs, then an alignment and so on....its also a pain in the butttaking it to a shop as i loathe paying the shop for mysterious shop materials and 70 an hour for labor....what other models can i switch too?????????

This is quite a poor design. However, remember that just because they say you need it, it isnt necesarrily true. I have done many of these brakes, machining rotors or replacing them. I have never sold an alignment or ball joints with the job. Honda dealers have a special tool that looks like a big hub that threads onto the studs and pulls the rotor off, with the inner bearing race. If you want to upgrade, the civic rotors are "normal", as are the rotors in any accord later than, sorry mate, the 94 models.

Hey thanks for the tip, sorry took so long to respond to your info, First i figured out what they have been doing....there are four bolts on the back side of the rotor which attach it to the hub assembly...removed four bolt, hub came out...four more bolts attaching rotor to hub assembly and repeat with new parts....easy as pie.....to hell with dealerships...they are thieves and liars as well as machine shops...kudos to you.....next question....where can i find rear quarters...both side and door skins....damn jungle rot
