Car stereo

Hello Honda Forum Board members,

I have a 2003 Honda Accord EXL. The navigation screen show the hvac information. This is nice and I've concluded that I can't update my stereo without losing it.

Would anyone know if I could add satellite radio?

I know Honda didn't offer it until the 2004 model. Would it be smarter to find a stereo from a later model in this generation?

I'm completely confused.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I went to local dealer after I bought the car and they told me it would cost up to $3,000.00 to have this done. There has to be a less expensive way.
