Default Civic or Prelude?

Hello. I have owned a 92 honda civic for two years now and it makes a great commuter car, but I found a 94 honda prelude for really cheap. It’s a cool looking car, but I don’t know much about it. Which is more reliable? Obviously the prelude is a better car, but I’m in college and need reliability vs. cool-ness.

So does anyone know how reliable the preludes are? I have not seen very many on the roads…

Thanks for your input.

Personally, I'd stick with the civic.

Agreed, the cheapest car is the one you have paid for or own. Don't need more problems with school being a priority, after school is done and a good job, you can buy the most beautiful car you want and pay it in cash

Hey, i say screw the civic. The civics are so heavily populated they are everywhere. I have a 1993 Honda Prelude Si 2.3L with over 4k of mods. It is an awesome car. It turns many heads and it is extremely reliable. Go with the Prelude!!!

I'd say go with the prelude if you want to have more performance without the work.
but if you're for going for gas mileage, then the civic is your car.
Anyway, if you ever go for the prelude, can you sell me the civic?
I need a good commuter car.
