Hey all, my family owns a Honda Fit and we are looking to add a CRV.

I am wondering if the Navi system has improved substantially over the last few years. You see, we got the Honda Fit with the Navi, but the data is usually 12-18 months old and there are TONS of unidentified areas. The system in 2010 was so bad, that we actually bought a Garmin for our Fit, so we can take trips to National Parks in the West and Midwest and not be stuck or lost.

What I am specifically wondering about is this:
1) Are the map updates still as old as the DVD system?
2) Do folks semi-regularly find areas that are not in the system?
3) Would people recommend the Navi system currently? [the 2010 system was abysmal, for comparison]
