Compare fuel consume on Honda Accord

I want to change my Honda Accord with engine capacity of 2.4 gassoline, with a Honda Accord 2.2 TDCi just because the fuel consuming is less. I found the fuel consumption for Honda Accord hear http://carsfuelconsumption.com/honda...-or-litres-km/ who can tell me that the numbers that show the 2.2 CTDi they are true?

I have a base 02 Honda Civic Coupe, and I can drive a 5-6 hour drive, about 500-600km with 3 quarters of a tank.

Wow, that's Great. My car normally average between 10-12 L/100kms

Toxicoid 07-09-2013 02:12 PM

Yeah, but that's only straight trips.

I live in the city, and driving-stopping constantly, traffic, red lights, stop signs, etc... eats up a lot more gas obviously. A tank of gas (about 50 litres) usually lasts me in the city about 2 weeks. Three if I don't drive around a lot.

I think the 02 Civic is probably the best car I've ever encountered, econonic/gas wise.

Can't go wrong with a small 2-door 4 cylinder car. :P

I have a buddy who gets 44mpg in his 2012 Honda Civic HF 4 cyl.

It's all depend on where you usually drive your car. Is it plane or urban environment? It's also depend on your driving experience that how you handle or care of your vehicle.

You need to improve the performance of your car.
