looking at first honda purchase

Default looking at first honda purchase

with the market how it is. i was looking at a honda but have read of issues wit 2006-2009 honda engine cracking the 8th gens. should i jump up to the 9th gen any thing in particular i should look for?
i am looking for a 4 door accord or civic doesnt matter i just want dependability and fuel efficiancy.

welcome to the forum. if you want dependability and fuel efficiency the civic gets a lot more miles to the gallon. the accord gets little more comfort but not fuel efficiency as a civic. civic does have a harder ride. i had a Fit for fuel efficiency but like riding on a go cart with a shell, got 295k miles and gave to my grandson. . accord is more suited for a family comfort civic family but tight..

Civic is a real find, my opinion. My neighbour has been driving a Civic 2016 and has had no complaints so far. the car is extremely inexpensive to maintain.
