Default Tentatively Purchasing a 2005 Honda Civic EX, have some questions

HI all, new to the forum and to Honda!

I'm tentatively purchasing a Honda Civic EX 4d sedan in the next week, and had some questions.

Without going into a dozen details, the owner is 90 and can no longer drive, and the car has 30k miles and barely driven while being kept in a garage. Maintenance has been kept up every 3 months regardless and the car is in mint condition (mileage aside).

Still ironing out some details, as this is being initiated through a middle party (family member who's a friend of the owner and who has personally checked the car out to ensure it's not a goose chase), but getting some finer details is difficult at this stage.

Basically I'm looking for trim information. I was digging around online but given the cars age it's difficult to get a full and accurate list of options, and features that are standard.

For instance, with the LX and EX lines (I was informed it's an EX but it could be an LX...pending confirmation later today hopefully), and was wondering what was standard? Cruise control? Fog lights? Steering wheel audio controls?

first off regardless of mileage the timing belt needs to be replaced every 110,000 miles or every 7 years so if it hasn't been replaced your 2 years overdo. the timing belt is rubber and rubber has a shelf life before it starts to dry out and crack. if your timing belt snaps say goodbye to your engine. your looking at $600+ for the job.

Thank you for your response.
Yes, I'm definitely aware of all major points of maintenance for a car
I certainly wouldn't have made it to 181k miles on my Elantra at this point otherwise

For all intents and purposes, this car will be getting a full workup.
Tires, engine, belts, interior, exterior, etc.
The seller also has all the maintenance receipts and details. Great thing about this particular buy is that the owner was meticulous.
Still, my own mechanic will give it a good once over.

I'd still like to talk about trim options however.
I'm going to inspect this car in person tomorrow and would like some more details on what the trim options really provided.

Oddly enough when I was searching I didn't get many hits.

Anyhow car is in purchased and I'm quite happy with it.
Only bummer is no steering wheel audio controls but I can live with that.
