Default [HELP] Installed a cone filter, then engine light went on!

I just took off the stock air box from my Civic Si hatchback, then directly put the AEM 3" dryflow cone filter to the intake hose. Then, the engine light went on. What do I miss?

welcome to the forum. Mass air sensor on your old airbox. Or air meter. Go to hondaautomotiveparts.com and insert your make and model and go to air filter, you'll see the diagram and parts below.

So what should I do then, can I reused the mass air flow sensor from the old air box? or I have to do something else?

your AEM3 cone filter should have given you instructions on how to install on the honda. but go to this site, and it has the diagrams and instructions.
