Hey fellas new to the site and new to Honda's I bought a 02 Civic with 248k on the clock but was a 1 owner and it has one major issue something keeps blowing the ECU the guy I bought it from was driving it and all the sudden it lost power and the cel light came on the guy took it to a shop and had it fixed replaced the ECU and reprogrammed ran fine for about 2 weeks and it blew again that's when he decided he wasn't gonna mess with it and sold it to me other then that car is in prolly a 8 out of 10 contition over all mint interior and some rust on the rear wheel wells but it's a 02 and we're in Ohio so I expect that anyway any ideas on what the heck could be goin on where to start I have no comm at all with the ECU so don't know where to start thanks

 

welcome to the forum. sorry i've never run into a ecu blow out, this one i would go to the dealer to have them run a check to find what is blowing the ecu out.
