04 civic wont start. please help

:confused:just bought used 04 civic 2 days ago. car wont start and there is a light on dash that look like a green key. what is it? the headlight and dashlight are all working, key will turn, but no ignition. PLEASE HELP!!!

Thats the imobilizer light. Usually have to take it to a technician to have that checked out.
