1996-97 Accord front rotor & hub

Has anybody successfully replaced front rotors on a 1996 or 1997 Accord. If so, how did you detach the hub assembly?

Have you succeeded removing the hub assembly since your last post?

I'm currentlyreplacing the front rotor & brakesof my brother-in-law's 1997 Accord. So far, it has been very frustrating due to the poor design of the braking system. I'll post the process when I'm done.

I have a 91 accord and if it's the same design, it's a poor one in my opinion. I have a shop press, so it wasn't all that bad of a job, because thebearings have to be sacrificed in order to press the hub out of the bearing. I took digital pics of the process. Let me know if you're interested.

Yeah I have and it does suck. You will need a new wheel bearing.just take the knuckle/hub assembly off the vehicle then remove the 4 bolts in the front and the 4 bolts on the backside. Then get a bigass hammer and beat the **** out of the back rotor. It takes alot of beating to get the wheel bearing to come apart. You might even need a press if the wheel bearing comes apart.
