2001 Honda Accord 2.3L launches forward when accelerates quickly from stop

Hi all,

I have a 2001 Honda Accord 2.3L 4-Cylinder F23A4 engine. Great car, but I am experiencing the below.

When accelerating quickly from a stop, the car would either stuck in neutral for 1 sec before it can accelerate OR it would launch forward a bit if I push hard on the gas pedal. If I slowly accelerate and let go of the gas pedal and slowly accelerate again, it picks up very smoothly and nicely. My car has very nice idle, just below the 1000 rpm steady. I have put in new spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body, new spark plug wires, new engine air filter, no exhaust leak, etc. It has 199K miles on it.

Any tips on what's wrong? Please see the below diagram. I am thinking the mesh (item #10 in the diagram below with red pointer) needs to be replaced, since it could be dirty AND the two solenoids (shift solenoids?) items #11 and #12 need to be replaced?

Thank you very much for any tip.

And what kind of testing brought you to that conclusion?
