2005 Accord EX V6 6SP rear brake pads
Hello forum,
At 95k I had to replace my rear brake pads for the first time on my Honda Accord EX couple V6 6SP (NAVI). I am light on the brakes. My front pads are still at 6mm after 125k. At 100k I was at the dealer for my inspection at they said my rear calipers had seized and my rear pads needed replaced again. I was able to negotiate for free pads but I had to pay for the calipers. This week at 125k my rear pads began to squeal again (pads are worn). I decided to order my rear pads and take them to the dealer to install to save a couple dollars. I used my VIN number to price rear pads at a half dozen parts stores. The part number for my rear pads is 43022-SV4-G22. Just to confirm the part number I retrieved my dealership service center invoice and I found they used rear pads with part number 43022-S84-A50. 43022-S84-A50 was not listed as a compatible part on any part store website that I checked. I found that the 43022-S84-A50 brake pad is used on 2005 Accord sedans and the 43022-SVA-G22 is used on 2005 Accord coupes. I am sure the pads are very similar but they are obviously recommended for two different vehicles.
Could installing the rear pads designed for the sedan on a couple cause 1.) my calipers to seize, 2.) the pads to wear x5 faster than the original rear pads?
Please offer your advice. What should be my approach when I return to the dealership to confront them on the issue?
Thanks!

first thing first don't take your car to a dealer and expect to save money. if you want to save money and learn a valuable life lesson buy a manual and do the job yourself changing brake pads is way to easy to be paying someone else to do i mean super easy!
