2006 Civic broken engine bolt????
I have a 2006 Honda Civic, my second Civic. I had my first Civic for 10 years and did the basic maintenance, no problems whatsoever. I had such confidence and trust that I bought another Civic. I had 37,044 miles (of course no longer under warranty) on my 2006 Civic when it died. It just stopped cold without warning. As it turned out the tensionor (sp) and a bolt in the engine broke. Has this happened to anyone else? I think a broken bolt in the engine should extend beyond warranty. It just doesn’'t seem right. I have lost confidence in Honda. It is scary because I thought they had the best reputation for safety. Well if this happened to Honda and they were "The Best" what doI have to look forward to with other makes that I have to now consider.
