I have a 2006 Accord LX V6 Coupe that was purchased 1/2009.

It appears to me that there is an issue with the idle, particularly when the car is in park or neutral (not noticeable in drive). Specifically, it feels as if one of the cylinders may be "missing". I've had two 2002 Accord V6 Coupes were smooth as silk.

The dealer performed the idle learn function and performed diagnostics with nothing notable found. As another 2006 V6 was on their lot, the mechanic checked it's idle with the same results.

Is this a known characteristic for this model year or does anyone have any suggestions?

welcome to the forum. perhaps a tune up, spark plugs, wires, valve adjustment, throttle position, idle cut off, may need cleaning.
