I will try to make this quick, my toddler put a quarter in the c/d player a few days ago, yesterday my battery died twice. I replaced the battery not even considering a connection between the quarter and the drained battery. This morning I went out and noticed the display screen was lit up and the time displayed in the corner (before I opened the door). I removed the radio and fished out the quarter, reassembled everything and it’s still doing the same thing- radio is working fine, but the display screen staying on is draining the battery. Will replacing the radio fix this? I’ve been pulling the radio fuse when I stop and putting it back in when needed.
