2017 crv spun camshaft bearing
While your cylinder head snapshot does not show sludge, it has what I would call severe journal damage.
The metal shavings would have circulated in the oil and contaminated everything. i.e. your engine is likely a boat anchor due to the cost of repair.
Under those circumstances I think you would be better off finding a replacement engine with a turbo.
Why did it go dry? Hard to say but if there was no coolant in the oil and the level was not below the dipstick my guess would be oil dilution could have caused that. It is not uncommon in the 1.5L Turbo especially ones that went over 5k miles between changes and were normally driven short distances on a regular basis.
Then there is the oil pump but that should have triggered a CEL due to low oil pressure.
Good Luck
