88 Lude Si AWS
Hey guys I am a newb, but my name is Isaac, or mrbeefy, alright here is the scoop. I have just bought this 88 prelude Si AWS, and I bought it not running (only paid 300) anyway it had the valve cover off of it, it was missing the crankcase vent tube, and the crankcase tdc sensor housing. I got all of that fixed, and I stuck a spare battery in it, the lights worked and the dash lights worked, but when I turned the key it wouldn't even turn over, just a click, and my buddy told me he heard sizzling and quiet popping coming from the battery, the cables are very corroded at the contacts, I'm going to clean them, maybe replace them, but it still won't turn over this I'm sure of, I think something with the starter may be messed up. Also there is a problem with the clutch petal, it stays on the floor, I can pull it up with my foot, but when I try to push it in from there it goes to the floor and stays there. I don't really know anything about tranny's so this one I really need help with. Anyone have any ideas, anything cheap i can try, please help, i really like this car, and i just really want to get this running and show the prick i bought it from what he lost. lata |
