Default 91 integra coilovers?

i have a 91 integra b18 just got the car like 2 weeks ago and it is slammed to the ground. I need to raise it up i am scraping all the speed bumps pulling in to my apartments. When i jacked the car up there is a spring siting on a plate and you can move it turn it very easy and there is a shock that runs down the middle of that. I think the last guy just cut the springs down so my question is if i order coilovers do i just need to get the springs or need the whole shock spring and all. The plates that is on there now are in good shape i could reuse them but i am not sure i have never done this before i just know it needs to be raised at least in back because i dont want to drive it afraid i will rip the bumper off anything will help thanks alot

When we did out 90 accord, we ordered both the spring and shocks as a match set. We did use the same plate.

Default hey

I think i have a fix for you. If you want a lowered car but nothing crazy as you were saying, what you can do is replace the coil overs with a newer set that would drop the car any were from 1.2 inches to 1.6all the way around giving you car a lower sitting height with out grinding and scraping every speed bump you go over, the company i would go with is B&G s2 sports coil overs they offer the kit for a 200 dollars so it wont break the bank, and if done right you can use all the old plates so nothing should be replaced. I hoped a help out.
