95 Accord with Issues.

I have a 95 Accord LX V6 with 175K+ miles. The issue I am having is as follows: The car starts up but within a few mins it all gauges go to zero and the car is very sluggish to drive. The battery is still new since I replaced it about week ago. I am wondering if it is the alternator. If anyone can assist it would be appreciated.

Turns out the alternator was bad. Replaced the alternator and car runs fine. However, I noticed that the temp was getting high into the red. I turned off the car off, popped the hoodand waited for itto cool down.Started the car and temp started to go up again and also noticed that thecooling fans were not coming on. I checked the fuses and relays for the cooling fans and all seem to be fine. Could there be something else that is preventing the fans from turning on?
