Well today i decided i would tackle the timing belt on my honda. I had the belt waterpump and a new tensioner. All went on well besides the tensioner because of ignorance. I broke the pivot bolt( doesnt need removed) when changing the tensioner, the bolt broke in the block w/ about a 1/4 inch dip i can put something in, my question is, if i get something in the pivot point and put the belt on and tension it, is it anything to worry about? Does that bolt hold anything after the tensioner is torqued down? Its already together i havnt started it yet cause i still have bits and pieces to put back on, but will this effect anything longterm. Also the waterpump bolts went in but never really got tight no matter how much they were spun? I think threads came out with half the bolts i took out, these cars were built by a small minded, small bodied individual that doesnt even speak a legible language... Tired of working on hondas. Not to cramped or nothing just when something goes against your favor it will fight you all the way...
