97 acura integra window fuses blow
When I bought my car only the front passenger window worked. The rear left would go down fine, but go up only when door is opened a certain degree. Finally decided to look into it and found that the rear right had blown fuse. Replaced fuse, the window went down, and blew right away. Took out battery to roll the window up (hooked up to motor), and found that all other windows went up and down fine using the battery to motor trick. I got now switches wondering if that was the problem.
Today I put in the new switches and fuses. Immediately 3 of the fuses blew at once. The left rear i wondered if it could have been a short, but now im stumped, especially if 3 blew at once. Idk what to think at this point. Anyone have any ideas that may help me narrow it down? |
Check the wires in the loom between the pillar and door.

The wire inside the tube between the door and inside is where the wire flexes the most.
Possible the wire is broken there and shorting power to ground and so blows the fuse. Good luck |
