99 civic lx won't start

I bought a 99 civic lx inline 4 d series a few months back and it ran fine untill it started periodically not starting. Maybe once or twice a month it decides not to start but now its getting worse and happening more often. Itll crank but not turn over, however most of the time if I let it sit for about 10-20 after itll start like there wasn't a problem in the first place. I replaced tye battery terminals, brand new fuel pump that primes (i can hear it) new fuel filter, whole tune up was done about 2 months ago and each plug has spark. There's no clogs in the air system and it seems to he completely random. Weather and slopes don't seem to matter. Pls help.

Don't know if you car has a crank sensor?

Crank sensors are known to some times cause intermittent crank, no start.
Is this the case with your vehicle?
IDK.
So, take it with a grain of salt ... wild guess
crank sensor.

Of course, always test and not just replace parts
It can get quite expensive just throwing parts at it

welcome to the forum. do an easy check, remove your distributor cap and look at the coil to see if there may be some discoloration. when this happens sometimes when its warm it will not start. wait 10-30 min, then starts with no problems.

Distributor cap? Then definitely no crank sensor.
Hmm, main relay, cold solder joints, distributor cap and rotor, igniter are some known issues
Youtube has lots of videos to help check crank, no starts.
Just got to wait for it to happen to do the checks???
