Annoying seat belt beep..

Just bought a 90 civic (4 door) and the seat belt alarm goes off with belt buckled and unbuckled its very annoying... was wondering how to make it stop so if anyone knows it would be most helpful.

Welcome to the forum,First off let me say that this forum cannot be held responsible for this info ,it's only meant to help in cases such as yours where the alarm sounds consistanly.#1 locate the wire under the seat that connects to the buckle.there should be a plug type connector#2 If not ,follow the wire to an area under the seat where you will be able to fit your hands into.#3 there should be two wires running together, cut through both of them and slightly seperate the ends apart( if there is no plug).#4use electrical tape to cover the wire ends so they do not short out when in contact with metal under the seat. Never do this with the battery connected ,it may be easier to take the seat out. Hope this helps and for anyone reading this if your car is under warranty it will void it.
