I own a 1999 honda accord v6, the engine light come on recently, check the code, said to replace gas cap, I did, but the light came back on, what is my next step?

welcome to the forum. It may take a few drives for the light to go off if it was the gas cap.

 

I agree,it takes time for the computer to reset itself sometimes.

 

May be a problem from CO2

 

The check engine light is because all check engine light codes are caused by components that affect emissions. It's not actually an engine problem, it's a problem with either your O2 sensor, MAF sensor, fuel/air ratio, pyrometer, or exhaust.
