Default Drive Belt removal

Hello,

I have a 97 honda accord v6 and am having trouble removing the outermost of the three drive belts, the one that runs the oil pump.

There is a small pulley attached to a tensioner but adjustment of that tensioner appears to do nothing. Do the through bolts on this tensioner need loosening or removal? What's the deal? The Haynes manual doesn't go into this type of detail.

Thanks!,

Eric

welcome to the forum. I'm advised to loosen the bolt on the tensioner to adjust it. not remove.
