Most people think they do more harm than good,I don't think that manufacturers would build these machines if they didn't work. I prefer to drop the pan and inspect, replace the filter and gasket and be done with it.

welcome to the forum. When I had my trans overhauled, the owner stated that if every person who owned an automatic trans changed their fluid once a year, most auto trans shops would be closed up. I change mine each 30k on my 07 Fit, auto.

i believe that honda actually doesn't recommend you machine flush there transmission's but since alot of the newer hondas have a non servicable internal mesh filter instead of a easy to replace external filter it would probably be wise to have it machine flushed once or twice with a drain and fill every oil change or 5,000 miles. they do make after market external filter kits along with transmission coolers that would greatly enhance the reliability of the transmission.

Hi, You need your car flush if you are facing following problems:

1). Transmission Grinding or Noises

2). Problems Shifting Gears

3). Delay in the car Movement

Otherwise you need not to go for flush. It may cause you replace some other parts also. So analyze your car problem and then go for it.

Hi, It's total wastage of time and money. Can you tell me what's the problem with your car?

I disagree,my Accord had problems going into reverse several years ago,My wife brought it to our mechanic ,he flushed the trans and no more problems. As Lowlife says these cars don't always have filters that can be changed and the flush is the way to go.
