Help! Electrical Problem Accord 2001
 

Yesterday I tried turning on my car, a 2001 accord ex, and it wouldn't start, it looked like my battery was dead I could bearly see the lights on the dashboard. Someone tried helping me charge my battery and I could see the lights but when I tried turning it on the dashboard got crazy and turned off and smoke started coming out from where my stereo is at. I took it off and the stereo was fine. We changed the battery and the car would turn on but a lot of the electrical components wont work including power doors, windows, headlights, dashboard, locks. And when I put it in drive or reverse it jumps and seems to start in second gear. I changed the interior light fuse and it burned it again. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!
