My CRV has 16K and I am planning on keeping to the suggested maintenance schedule. I have already serviced the rear differential with the help of two YouTube videos. I want to service the front transfer case but can not find any information or videos on that task. Surely there are instructions or a video outlining the proper procedure. Can anyone direct me to where I can find that? Thank you.

 

You do realize you may be making your warranty void.

 

That is an interesting thought. For the rear differential service I purchased the fluid (and new washers) at the dealer and filed my receipts. I took a photo of the magnetic plug documenting the residue it had accumulated. I also changed my oil at 6000 miles using a filter purchased from the dealer and 0-20w Mobil 1 (along with a tire rotation).

I would appreciate your thoughts on why you think my actions would cause my warranty to be voided? Thanks for your response.
