I have a 97 Civic DX coupe, about a month ago I was driving down the road and it just shut off.. Now it wont start!! Upon checking some things out I lost power to my main relay which runs the fuel pump so it's not getting gas but the fuel pump works fine, also I have no spark. The main relay always clicked turning my key to first position now its not, I replaced the relay and still nothing. I have power to everything else but Main Relay and Distributor (which im not sure if its powered by main relay) What could have caused this....PLEASE HELP, any input would be appreciated!!

 

ignition system might be bad... and it just happens like that to... "CLICK" and your car turns off

 

Check all your fuses with a test light to be sure.

And check the main fuses under the hood.

You may have blown a main fuse which feeds the main relay and ECM computer.

If it is a blown main fuse, you will have to find the defective component that is drawing too many amps.
