leaking coolant from the resivour

hi guys,

Civic 99'
I am just tying to keep it running and on the road. Doesn't look pretty and I do not need anything fancy.

I am on the road and living on a dime. I just got a hole in the top of my radiator I patched it with some aluminum and four coatings of JB Weld. Now I am losing coolant, I think, from my resivour. It is a slow leak and will not leak past right below the minimum level line. I have not identifies exactly where the leak is coming from but i think it is from where the black hose connects and goes the the radiator.

I am wondering if you guys have any advice on patching it? If you think it could be something else entirely? I know I can by another one on ebay for about $20. I don't want to do that if it is not the problem.

Any advice? Thanks

-Greg

Welcome to the forum,I have tried to patch them and the problem is getting them clean enough to patch them also the expansion from the heated coolant then cool down when the motor is off makes it very hard for a patch to work long,My advice is go with another . :D
