New guy and need help
 

Hi guys, please take it easy on me since its my first day.

My bros wife has a 07 oddessy (sp) and I think the front wheel bearings are shot based off his description. I'm going to try to fix it tomorrow and have been reading up online and watched a vid or two on YouTube...

My question is in regards to all this inner and outer race I keep reading about?? I consider myself fairly tech savvy and haven't heard of this. I have replaced wheel/hub assembly bearings on my jeeps in the past and have always done the following:

Remove wheel
Loosen axle nut
Remove brakes/calipers
Remove rotor
Remove hub/wheel bearing assembly
Then just reverse all that with new hub assembly

What's the deal with this race stuff? Are the bearings not sealed in the hub assembly?

Admittedly I know jack about Hondas... Please help if you can
