no dash lights please help
 

I have a 1990 civic hatch and my dash lights wont work. I have replaced the gauge cluster, dimmer switch, and fuse and still no dash lights... I let someone put a aftermarket stereo in and since then the dash lights just wont work. what can be wrong, i have since unhooked the stereo and wrapped the wires with electrical tape and still nothing...

you need to look at the stereo wireing and find out which wire was cut from the dash light system and repair it so you will need to get a wiring diagram to follow wires if you have a back prob from mac tools it will help alot in tracing the wiring.....good luck hope this leads you in the right direction ...... geoff

try going to autozone.com and register for free, and go to repair, the site may have yor wire diagram on line to assist you
