Noisy power steering pump Odyssey 2010

Hi everybody, I have a Odyssey 2010 EX-L and yesterday the power steering started to make noise. The sound is like it was running low on fluid but I checked the reservoir and is full. I turned off the engine, after a few minutes turned on the engine again and there was no noise. I Started to drive the vehicle again, and after a few minutes the noise returned. There is no fluid leaks on pump, hoses or rack and pinion. I think is the pump but I'm not sure. I appreciate any help on the topic.

Thanks to everyone

welcome to the forum. before changing the pump, change the fluid and use Honda fluid only. aftermarket will cause problems down line.

How does the noise sound like? Metallic noise, rumbling noise, squeak?
Check the power steering reservoir. If it has bubbles, then the O-Ring needs to be replaced on the inlet of the power steering pump

Usually, it is an O-ring on the power steering pump that fails
There won't be any leakage of power steering fluid
But, the failed O-ring will allow air into the pump and cause noise.

Yes, it is the O-ring on the in-take side of the pump.
There is a OEM, Honda, O ring repair kit for it.
Most people just end up replacing the pump

Or it could be the other O-ring that ckev70 mentioned

Good luck
