odometer and trip will not increase...
 

I have a 2000 civic. the odometer and trip a/b will not increase in numerical value. it literaly is stuck on the number that appears. The speedometer works and all the dash lights work, so i am wondering if it is and ecu thing or something else. thanks for the help.

welcome to the forum, if the speed o meter works, it sounds more like the odometer part is bad, the instrument it'self. have you tried pushing and letting the trip knob pop out, the oposite of banging it in. Let it slam out to see if it clears.

Check the VSS or speed sensor
