Default Odyssey In Dash Lights Delay

I've got a 2003 Odyssey and its in dash lights started to flicker once engine and head lights were turned on.

That was fixed when I set the dimmer switch to full strength.

Now it would come on only after three to five minutes after turning on the head lights. [>:]

Is there some module that's about to die here and needs to be replaced? [sm=rolleyes.gif]

Thanks!

Thanks for the information, but is this something I can order/buy from the dealer and replace myself (like a light bulb) or will this require two hours of labor while opening up the dash unit to get to the "dash pot" itself?

I assume this is located somewhere below the dash, above the pedals, or perhaps near the fuse box, or is this really tucked inside and only a dealer's mechanic can get to it with ease?

I got to take my 02 civic unit out to look at it, it took me 1 hr the first time on the car, and lucky me, I did not break anything. You might want to purchase the unit and call the service manager and get an estimate on how long and how much it will cost before you take yours apart. Also if you look up Mag Auto Parts, Kris might be able to assist you on parts at wholesale with shipping free if cost is above a certain amount.
