OVERHEATING!!!! 1996 Honda Accord Lx

Someone please help!! My car is overheating and I would like to know what it could be..... I've notice some smoke coming from the Engine area like where the spark plugs are too, and my engine seems to get really hot. I've changed the waterpump and timing belt, the radiator, thermostat, and some hoses. It's still running hot. Also, I had the Head Gasket checked and there's nothing wrong with the head gasket and my oil is not milky. So What could it be??? What do I need to check for now?

welcome to the forum. check the timing of the engine.

HI

The wrong pump might also cause engine to overheat. Some engines which have serpentine drive belts require a special water pump that turns in the opposite direction of those used on the same engine with v-belts.I suggest you to check the fan ,as most overheating problems are caused by a faulty fan clutch which might reduce the cooling efficiency.

Good info, check to see if the thermostat is opening,I have replaced thermoststs only to find out it was defective. If elec. fans make sure they come on. Let us know what you find out.
