Unhappy powersteering fluid in brake fluid

HELP. Cold out and in a hurry I put power steering fluid in the brake fluid master cylinder. I filled it from the min. line up to the max. line. What can I do? I have not started or driven the car yet. It is an Acura MDX 2002.

Welcome to the forum, get the fluid out ,it will damage sensors and seals,as well as cause break failure.take it to a car care place and have it flushed,I think quick lube places do that.

I would drive it to the nearest shop very slowly with flashers on
using "ONLY the mechanical Ebrake" of course that would be me.
if it ever happened to me. or play it safe and have it towed to the shop
to flush it out good. get them to suck it out using a brake vacume its done
right on each of the calipers no need to step on brake for this method good luck."

if you haven't driven the car yet then just suck the fluid out with a turkey baster. then have the brakes flushed.

Thank you I sucked it out with a 60cc syringe as much as I could filled it with DOT 3/4 fluid and will schedule an appt to flush the brake system. Is it really that corrosive since they both are just hydraulic fluids, but of different types? It would seem that they both would have seals etc. Just thinkin'

well yes they are both hydraulic fluids but power steering fluid has additives that will cause major problems. also they have different viscosities.

I understand, I got a place to flush it out and put in new brake fluid for $55. It pays not to get into too much of a hurry. Thanks All. One Step Enough for Me....papasloane

I know you need to use power steering fluid made for Honda, does the same apply to brake fluid?

Brake fluid is usually much higher density hydraulic fluid as well as different type than is power steering fluid. In vehicles with ABS systems it will damage sensors and seals, and in
