Pulsating noise in rear wheels

Hello everyone,

I had my Honda element sitting outside unmoved for about 2 months. Immediately before this I replaced the brake pads, resurfaced the rotors, had an alignment, wheels balanced, and changed all fluids. I took it for a drive today and the rear wheels (possible only 1 of them) are making a screeching/ pulsating noise and are causing a slight vibration. I assumed it was rust buildup on the rotors so I drove it around a parking lot for about 15 laps and applying the brakes after building up a little speed. The pulsating/screeching noise is becoming more quiet, but it is difficult to say if the vibration from the pulsing is also reducing. Should I keep driving it and see if it goes away or take it to get inspected?

Just had the brakes inspected by Honda and everything is okay. Not sure what else may be causing this issue.

Sometimes when a car sits for a period of time the tires become temporarily out of round, they developed a flat spot, that may be what you were feeling.

vibrations could be caused by a bad wheel bearing or the tires may not have been balanced properly or a wheel weight could have fallen off. try swapping the rear tire to the front and see if vibrates the front.
