rpms fluctuate at times, car shuts off (separate)
 

I have a 95 accord lx, auto,

My rpms have been fluctuating ever since I got my tranny rebuilt back in december. It has been better as of late, but still happens. I noticed sometimes when I hit the brake the car shuts off, but starts back up no problem. Yesterday I was backing out of a spot, and when I would put it in drive it would shut off. I would turn the key and turn it back on, it would start fine, but when I would put it in D4 it would shut off. ((this problem stopped after about 3 tries.)) It then drove fine the whole way home.

I have been trying to fix this problem for awhile now, and had it at 2 separate garages.

(Alternator is good, battery is brand new)

Any ideas anybody? Im really in a spot here without much of a clue as to what the problem is,
could the brake booster be causing this problem?

Check the power brake booster for holding a vacuum. It may have a small leak when the brakes are not applied and a larger leak when they are applied. Check the EGR valve for sticking open or for a leaky vacuum diaphragm. Good luck,Bobby :D

Some other things I notice that i'm not sure if I mentioned or if it matters, but:
My AC does not work.
Cruise does not work.
I can feel a shake/vibrate when I press the lock/unlock button.
D4 light lights up by itself as I turn car on, once car is on it goes off untill it is in D4.
Dash lights dim when i put on Headlights.

PLEASE HELP...car keeps making going anywhere a huge ordeal..

Also, the car has been shutting off while idling in park as well.
Sometimes it will start acting up as soon as I turn on car, sometimes after 20min. very intermittant.
Any ideas/suggestions would be awesomeeee.
