Should I get a trickle charger? Honda Odyssey 2008.
So I think it's because I don't drive very far or on a regular basis. I want to know what you think. I usually go to the grocery store or the park 7-15 minutes trips. About twice a week I use the car. I rarely drive for 30 minute or longer trips. I'm a stay at home mom so I don't feel the need to drive somewhere all the time.
I've had the battery replaced recently and then when that one died the replacement is doing the same thing. Thing is this is the second car that's had the same problem and I think it's probably me and not the cars. I had the guy at Advanced Auto Parts test the alternator for me twice, he said no problem there. And I don't think both cars would have the same problem. I don't know if it could be the voltage regulator. But I'm thinking both cars having the same thing wrong is highly unlikely. So.... Should I get a trickle charger? Just to keep the battery charged? Should I also get a battery shut off? Would you get one or both? Thank you 🙏 for any advice. I'm trying to make sure before I order it on Amazon, or pick it up at harbor freight. I could also use a second opinion to show my husband too. |
It's you. Get a charger of drive it more.
