welcome to the forum. How many times has this happen, document this, each time it happens, time of day , everything on record. And have you told your dealership of what happened. also document times called, whom you talked to, date and time and what was said. should anything happen to you or your family or friends, at least you have it documented. it this happens again, and your dealership is of no help, call american honda and get a work order started.

todate, I have not heard of a honda doing the Toyota stuck throttle. you are the first on our forum. But documenting the info will make it easier to explain to the dealership of what is going on, they will look into it but if it does not do it with them, they will just say could not duplicate, did not do it as we checked this out. the documentation only assists them what to look for, temp, date, more info the better to find. i did not say the dealership would not help. it is not a common problem, sometimes it happens when the gas and the brake is stepped on at the same time due to the pedals are at the same height. this has happen with big equipment that i've driven.

Sounds like the throttle body may be sticking, try cleaning it.
