Hey guys. 2001 CRV. When running at an idle the heat blows nice and warm and the temp gauge reads right in the middle of hot and cold. When I start driving the temp gauge drops to cold and the heat blows cool. I've been told to check coolant, water pump, thermostat, and head gasket. I plan checking all the above but I just stepped out of the vehicle so I need to wait for it to cool down. Just thought I'd post to see what some of you think in the meantime. Thanks!

 

It may have the wrong thermostat,pull it and buy a new one,cheap and easy to do.
