vacuum lines

just bought a 98 Accord and there's a vacuum line missing on the intake plenum behind the throttle body the center vacuum nipple behind the curved nipple and the second straight nipple is gone and you can see that a hose was there all the diagrams I found say it goes to the cruise control vacuum canister but the car is not equipped with cruise control and there is no canister where it should be. Also if I try to cap the nipple it makes the car bog and almost die after you hit the gas. Does anyone know what that center nipple is for on a non cruise control Accord

Welcome in, if the car runs ok I wouldn't be to concerned,I have a 2000 Acord I'll look at it tomorrow if I can remember to see what it is.

Thanks that would be helpful if you could I was just confused because you can see on the fitting that a line use to be there I looked into the vacuum canister that's normally attached but there's nowhere to mount it the place on the fire wall for it is covered from the factory it does seem to run alright but it didn't make sense to me that it does with such a big vacuum leak
