Why not just swap the whole motor and part out what you have? It might be cheaper...

prob, if it wasnt gonna be too expensive i was just thinkin bout convertin mine to vtec in the meen time. i may just leave it like it is get my swap then sale or like u said part it out for some extra cash to go along with the zc.

the v tec conversion is easy. and d series head SHOULD im not guaranteeing because if you have a 90's model and try to bolt up a 99 model obviously it wont fit. but yes the conversion all together takes maybe 8 hours or less. its a simple change of the head, wire the sensor into the rpm sensor (dont remember exactly what the wired are called it sends info to the comp about what the rpms are) the change out the computer and there ya go you got yourself a vtec motor. its easier said than done you need to read up on it i didnt do that before i converted my 91 civic into a vtec and it turned an 8 hour job into a week long job.
