when should the timing belt be changed
 
Hi i am a very proud owner of a 99 accord 3.0L v6 ans i have 270000 km on it which are mostly highway km i need to know if anyone can tell when i should have the timing belt replaced.. the car runs great and has had all the services done at the dealer but do i need to dothe timing belt or do i drive it till it breaks then do it please respond soon

your owners manual states 105,000 miles or 7 years, your accord has 167,770 miles. and 10 years old. anytime now is good. be sure the crank, cam seals, and the water pump is changed also since you are in the area and not want to be charged again for seal or pump failure in the near future.
